2015 Holden Manz Syrah Reserve

Deep purplish ruby red. Dark berries on the nose with some baking spices and purple flowers. Medium plus tannins (7/10) with a full body. Tons of graphite on the palate with spiced berries. Long and lingering finish. Still a very young wine.
Always love visiting Holden Manz, Gerard and Thierry whenever we are out in the Cape. Highly recommend if you ever visit wine country in South Africa. This vintage is made up of 100% Syrah from the Holden Manz Estate in Franschhoek. 30% is whole bunch fermented in new French oak and then the rest is aged for 24 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak.
