Barrel Tasting with Gerard Holden and Thierry Haberer.
Dark ruby red. Layered nose with dark cocoa, black fruits, perfumey and nice amount of spices. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Tons of gravel on the palate, layered chocolate and dark berries. Long finish.
5th vintage of this bottling. If made in the same way as the 2015 it is made up of 100% Cabernet Franc and aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak. Not yet bottled.
