Tasting Note:May 28, 2018

Seventh wine at the tasting bar. Dark purplish ruby red. Layered nose with baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg and dark berries. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Dark and spiced palate with sweet spices, dark raspberries and blueberries. Long and lingering finish.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Picket Road Block on the Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga. Aged for 19 months in 75% neutral oak. Only 129 cases produced.
