Tasting Note:May 28, 2018

Eighth wine at the tasting bar. Deep purplish red. Dark nose with tons of dark cocoa, baking spices and perfume. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Similar palate like the nose, coated in dark cocoa, cassis and blackberries. Long and lingering finish.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rosedale Block on the Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga. Aged for 19 months in 75% new French oak. Only 133 cases produced.
