Second wine from the first table we visited at Zachy's Grand Opening in D.C.

Deep and dark purplish red. Layered nose with cocoa leaves, tobacco, and some dark dusty berries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus to almost full bodied. Dark palate with black cherries, black currants, coconut, vanilla and a touch herbaceous in the medium plus to long finish.

Made up of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot. Aged for a total of 14 months in a mix of new and used French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.

Drink Dates:

2017 till 2028.
