First wine from the first table we visited at Zachy's Grand Opening in D.C.
Dark purplish ruby red. Notes of dark cherries and wood spices on the nose. Bright acidity and medium tannins (5.5/10). Not over the top on the palate with notes of oak, gravel, bramble berries and spices.
Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend with a bit of Merlot, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc. Aged for 16 months in French oak.
