2003 Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red

Estate: Pahlmeyer Estate

Region: Napa Valley, California, United States of America

Tasting Note:May 29, 2017

Deep ruby red. Mix of blue and red fruits on the nose. Undertones of cedar and light craisons. Rich and extracted, a true powerhouse in Napa. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Solid oak notes, vanilla, cinnamon, some mint and notes of black fruits and red fruit too. Long finish. Heat comes through a little bit, but does not overpower the wine.
