Medium garnet red. Touch of baking spices on the nose with cinnamon and dark fruits. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Big punch mid palate but has layers of dark berries with graphite and gravel in the long finish.

Fruit for this bottling comes from throughout the Valley Floor. To be exact: Oakville and Rutherford - Beckstoffer Georges III, Beckstoffer Misouri Hopper Creek, and Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyards; Carneros - Truchard Vineyard; and Atlas Peak - Stagecoach Vineyard. Bordeaux-blend made of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot. Aged for around 22 months in 60% new French oak. Only 4,829 cases produced.
