Cannot believe this was under $7.00. Stunning value for a Cape Winemakers Guild bottling. Light plus to medium gold in appearance. Big nose with beeswax, honey, citrus rind and a little wax. Medium acidity (6/10) and medium to medium plus body. Warm palate with lots of citrus, spices, stone fruits and light minerality. Long finish.

Purchased from Norman Goodfellows in Illovo, thank you Peter for the excellent recommendation. Only wish you had more! This bottling is made up entirely of 100% Chenin Blanc by Teddy Hall from Stellenbosch. Aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. Only 57 cases produced with 30 being auctioned in 2014.
