1986 Allesverloren Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Wine
Tasting Note:September 30, 2018
Dark garnet red with watery and brick edges. Nose is a tad off but opens with a bit of red cherries, cinnamon and some damp leaves. Balanced acidity and tannins (5/10) with a light plus to medium body. Interesting aged palate with notes of dried cherries, branches, leaves and very dry. Medium finish but dryness lingers.
And I thought the 1991 last week was the oldest bottling we have ever had. Then we got recommended this bottling by Paul at Karibu and we were very impressed.
