Tasting Note:September 29, 2018

Light to medium yellow in appearance. A bit sweet on the nose with some stone fruits and some baking spices. Medium acidity (6/10) and light plus to medium bodied. Almost a bit aged on the palate with a some honeyed elements, ripe red delicious apples and a little wax. Very dry and long finish.


Tenth wine in the VIP tasting lounge during the Cape Winemakers Guild Auction and last still white wine. This is made up of 60% Roussanne and 40% Marsanne by Johan Malan from Stellenbosch. Aged for a total of twelve months prior to blending and bottling. Only 100 cases produced with 40 being auctioned in 2018 and 34 auctioned in 2017.
