Tasting Note:December 19, 2017

Fourth wine at our tasting at Raats Family Wines with Marika and very first Eden Wine for us. Beautiful light golden yellow. Some oak on the nose with notes of honeysuckle, key lime with white and yellow fruits such as stone and citrus. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Crisp attack on the palate as well as being well rounded and balanced. Creamy mouthfeel with baked apples, kiwi, crushed gravel and lemon curd. Very long and lingering finish with a bit more minerality pushing through.

Made up of 100% Chenin Blanc from high density vines. Aged for 11 months on the lees in neutral oak.
