Tasting Note:May 25, 2018

Light lemon yellow in appearance. Can smell the new oak on the nose with some layers of wax, peaches and a bit rich. Needs some time to balance out. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium plus body. Rich on palate too with oak, butter, candied peaches and lemon rind. Medium plus to long finish.

Last stop on day one in Sonoma was at Patz & Hall Winery. Second wine was their Chardonnay from the Ritchie Vineyard. Only 14 barrels produced.
