2014 La Pitchoune Pinot Noir Holder Vineyard

Medium ruby red with brick edges. Complex nose with elegant layers of spices, sweet tobacco, leather, black raspberries and purple flowers. Medium plus acidity (7/10) and medium bodied. Earthy attack on the palate with some strawberries, rose water, raspberries and violets. Dry and long finish.
Second stop in Sonoma with Andrew Berge of Spell Estate, La Pitchoune and Tiny House to name a few. Next red from La Pitchoune is their Holder Vineyard Pinot Noir. Aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels and only 98 cases produced.
