Stunning wine to drink on day four on the cruise before heading to Jamie’s by Jamie Oliver abroad the Harmony of the Seas. Deep ruby red with medium edges. Rich and savory on the nose with notes of black olives, crushed rocks, cinnamon, pencil shavings and dark berries. Medium and well integrated tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus body. Delicious palate with notes of sweet spices, tobacco, dark extracted plums, woody and some graphite. Long and lingering finish.
This wine is a Rhone blend comprised of 63% Syrah, 19% Mourvedre, 15% Grenache and 3% Petite Sirah. Only 1380 cases produced and 15.3% alcohol.
