Tasting Note:April 28, 2018

First wine of the cruise at 150 Central Park. Decanted for around two hours. Mix of dark ruby and garnet red. Dark nose with graphite, crushed purple flowers, and bark. Sitting in the glass for an hour more it started opening up with dark berries and dark gravel. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) with a full body. Layered palate with some secondary notes of forest floor, mushrooms, red berries and cassis. Long and lingering finish.
