Tasting Note:April 25, 2018

Very impressed from the get go. Dark ruby red in appearance. Complex nose with an attack of spices then followed by layers of purple flowers, cherries, bramble berries, savory and light sweet spices. Medium to medium plus body with balanced and lush acidity (6.5/10) with integrated tannins (6/10). Layered palate with notes of dark berries, raspberries, sweet spices, and a bit of fizz. A touch dry in the long finish.

Made up of 100% Pinot Noir from the W.E. Bottoms Vineyard located in the Russian River Valley. Aged in 60% new Boutes French oak and 40% used.

2018 till 2028.
