Tasting Note:September 28, 2018

Bright ruby red with a touch of garnet. Fresh nose with freshly snapped twigs, spices, olives, strawberries and gravel. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered palate with dark raspberries, strawberries, branches and dried herbs. Long finish.

Thirty-fourth wine at the Friday Auction Tasting for the Cape Winemakers Guild and the twenty-third red wine. This is made up of 100% Mourvèdre by Sebastian Beaumont with 100% whole cluster fermentation from the Bot River region. Only 78 cases produced with 40 being auctioned in 2018.
