Tasting Note:May 29, 2018

Medium lemon yellow. Layered nose with an attack of green apples, lemon zest and a bit chalky mixed with crushed white gravel. Medium acidity (7/10) and medium bodied. Crisp palate with loads of citrus and stone fruits, green apples and some chalky minerality with the long finish.

Second winery on our third day in Napa Valley is Tuck Beckstoffer Wines located at the old Dancing Hares property in St. Helena and hosted by Jessica. First up was their Semper Chardonnay from the Fort Ross Vineyard located in Fort Ross - Seaview, Sonoma Coast. Made by Philippe Melka with only 174 cases produced and 14.1% Alc/Vol.
