Tasting Note:May 29, 2018

Dark ruby red with a light purplish hue. A bit of age and wetness showing on the nose with mint or eucalyptus, raspberries, currants and damp forest floor. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus body. A touch of light peppers on the palate with some soft blue fruits and spices. Medium plus to long finish.

First winery on our third day in Napa Valley is Paradigm Winery in Oakville with our amazing host, Mary Ann. Last of the three Cabernet Sauvignons was this 2011, thank you Rem and Mary Ann for taking this out for us! Made up of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot from their estate vineyard in Oakville. 4,000 cases produced and 14.5% Alc/Vol.
