Deep purplish ruby red. Rich nose with dark cocoa, blueberries, pencil shavings, gravel, and perfume. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Approachable for being Mountain fruit and so young. Layered palate with some dark mountain berries, dusty notes, dark cocoa, and a little powdery mouthfeel. Lovely long and integrated finish.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a single block (Coliseum Block) on the Hossfeld Vineyard in Napa Valley. Aged for 30 months in French oak barrels and then for an additional year in bottle before release.
