2014 Adaptation Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep purplish red. Layered nose with notes of iron, graphite, dark red berries, sweet spices and cranberries. Heavy tannins (7/10) with solid acidity. Lots of crushed gravel, dark raspberries, pomegranate and cocoa on the palate. Medium plus bodied and long finish.
Great second label bottling (Adaption Wines) by Odette. This is a Cabernet Sauvignon based blend led with 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot from vineyards as far north as Howell Mountain all the way to the Stags Leap District. Aged for 19 months in 50% new French oak barrels.
