2011 Bond Vecina
Region: Oakville, Napa Valley, California, United States of America
Tasting Note:May 29, 2017
Deep ruby red and high viscosity, completely coated the glass. Restrained nose with purple floral notes, a little forest floor and a touch herbaceous. Definitely from a cooler vintage. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Layered on the palate with bark, mushrooms, peppers, and soft dark plums. Long finish. Definitely needs a couple plus hours in the decanter to burn off the green nose.
