Deep and dark ruby red. Love the layers on the nose with smoky nuances, black pepper, dark flowers and berries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Nice punch of spices on the palate both dark as well as sweet spices. Mix of black berries, and a touch savory with some bacon near the back end. Long and lingering finish.

Was not sure what to expect from this interesting blend of 67% Syrah and 33% Petit Verdot, very impressed. Big and powerful wine with peppery characteristics and some dark fruits. Would definitely love to try this again. Only four barrels produced and aged for 20 months in a mix of American and French oak.
