First wine at our blind Cabernet Franc S&E Wine Club Tasting. Light golden yellow. Guava galore on the nose with tons of white flowers, white peaches and a touch of grassiness. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Very refreshing on the palate with notes of crushed stones, tropical fruits, a touch creamy with grass and minerality in the medium plus to long finish.


This bottling is made up of 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon. A majority of the Sauvignon Blanc is from the Laguna Ranch vineyard in the Russian River Valley as well as the Laguna North Vineyard. The Semillon comes from the Monte Rosso Vineyard from 127 year old vines. 40% of the fruit is fermented in French oak and the other 60% in stainless steel.

Tasting Note:October 9, 2017

Light greenish yellow. Rich nose with notes of stone fruits, butter scotch, oaky, creme brulee, white floral notes and a little fresh cut grass. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Rich palate, lemon zest, creamy mouthfeel, ripe grapefruit and very well rounded with a touch of minerality. Long and lingering finish.
