Tasting Note:March 23, 2016

Grabbed this as a test for a new QPR/Value wine out of California. Wine was a deep ruby red. Nose started off with herbs and spices, then changed into light dark fruits. Slightly gamey too but that faded quickly. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) with a singular body, not very complex. Has some slight vegetal notes and red fruits on palate. Slightly dry moderate finish. Still a great everyday drinker for its price point out of California!
