Tasting Note:June 19, 2019

Drank with Wake Up Wine using three minutes. Deep ruby red with a hint of garnet. Elegant nose with perfumed flowers, dried sour cherries, earthiness and some leather. Medium tannins (6/10) with high acidity and a medium plus body. Savory on the palate with sour cherries, cigar box, light baking spices and leather. Long finish.

Beautiful 100% Sangiovese from the sourthern portion of the Chianti Classico region in the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga just northeast of Siena. Aged for between 12 to 18 months in small and medium barrels before aging for at least 6 months in bottle prior to release.
