Tasting Note:March 16, 2019

Deep garnet red with a touch of ruby. Quite a bit of gravel on the nose with strawberries, leather, cassis and black cherries. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus body. Smooth palate with some extraction. Great backbone too with layers of forest floor, baking spices and dark cherries. Long finish.

Tasted at the Taste of Yountville Grand Cru Tasting. Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rossi Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District. Aged for 22 months in 70% new French oak barrels.

2019 till 2028.
