Fifth red wine at our annual DMV South African wine tasting.

Medium garnet red. A little herbal on the nose with some mint and some red cherries. Well balanced acidity with medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Notes of dried cherries, savory herbs and earthiness. Medium plus length finish.

True Bordeaux-Blend made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot. A part of the Specialty Range from Asara Wine Estate. Aged for a total of 24 months in French oak barriques.
