Strong bubbles on the pour with a light greenish yellow. A bit tight on the nose with some white flowers and green apples. Light acidity (4.5/10) and light bodied. Notes of minerality, honeysuckle and yellow fruits on the palate. Medium length finish.
This Sweet Rosé is a part of Castello del Poggio's Hello Sweet Life range which brings the Italian lighthearted way of living in a bottle to their consumers. As they say on their website. Life is simple.
We played around with these Hello Sweet Life collection wines with a cheese pairing. We paired this wine with a really ripe Brie. It helped to cut through the creaminess but a little more acidity would have been really nice.
