Second red wine with at Holden Manz. Named after one of the big men himself whom we tasted with (Gerard Holden).
Brick red on the edges with a deep and dark ruby core. A touch of damp earth on the nose that wore off to more complexity with dark berries, pepper, spices and dark raspberries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Dry palate with tons of dark berries, raspberries and a touch of earthiness. Long and lingering finish.
Made up of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 24 months in 30% new French oak.

2017 till 2025.
