2016 Lauren Ashton Cellars Roussanne
Tasting Note:February 17, 2018
Bright pale yellow. Fresh and layered nose with white floral notes, citrus zest, provenance herbs and minerality. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, wet stones, white flowers, tropical and stone fruits. Long and lingering finish.
Always impressed with these wines out of Woodinville, WA made by Kit Singh. Very excited to see what he is doing with his new wine project, Ashton Troy. This is made up of 100% Roussanne from the Dineen Family Vineyard in Columbia Valley. Definitely worth checking out.
