Tasting Note:September 28, 2018

Very light pale greenish yellow. Fresh and elegant nose with white blossoms, honeysuckle and citrus. Medium plus acidity (7/10) with a light plus body. Crisp and clean on the palate with tons of minerality, green apples and a little floral. Long finish.

Tenth wine at the Friday Auction Tasting for the Cape Winemakers Guild and eighth still white wine. This is made up of 100% Chardonnay by Kevin Grant from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge region. Aged for nine months in tight-grained Burgundian French oak. Only 61 cases produced with 40 being auctioned in 2018.
