2015 Hand of Fate Napa Valley Chardonnay

Last of the two Chardonnays from Hand of Fate Wines. Love both areas just like Adriaan and Lara! Light golden yellow with a well rounded and balanced nose. A little toasty on the nose with creme, lemon curd and zest, provenance herbs, and white floral notes. Love the complexity and layers. Medium acidity (6/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. A nice amount of richness with notes of honeysuckle, oak, buttery, stone and citrus fruits but a bit zesty. Long and lingering finish with a bit of minerality.
Made up 100% Chardonnay from Los Carneros AVA in Napa Valley. This wine is whole cluster pressed before primary fermentation in 60 gallon neutral French oak barrels and also goes through malolactic fermentation. Aged on the lees for 10 months prior to being bottled and blended. This was bottle 693 out of 850 produced.
