Tasting Note:January 7, 2018

Deep purplish ruby red. Layered nose with cherry and blueberry liqueur, tons of baking spices and graphite. Seems a bit light to start but needs time to beef up and show its true colors. Heavy tannins (7/10) and starting to get full bodied. Similar notes on the palate, blueberry liqueur, black fruits, and even more cinnamon. A touch dry in the long finish. Drink from 2019 or with a long decant now till 2037. Would like to see this with around 6 or so hours in the decanter.

Aged for around 20 months in French oak barrels.
