Fourth of the blind Witchery Wines we are reviewing today.

Deep purplish ruby red. A touch tight and stinky on the attack of the nose, with some air it gained some dark berries, violets and dark cocoa. Medium plus and mouthwatering tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus bodied. Not as fruity on the palate as the 2015 but with layers of spices, dark cherries, crushed rocks, and a touch of forest floor. Dark minerality and very dry long finish.

Made by Grant Long Jr. of Aonair Wines. This is aged for 23 months in 100% new French oak. Blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc. Only 200 cases produced (8 barrels) and 14.8% alcohol.
