First of the three wines we received from the All Red Wine Club by WINESTYR.
Deep garnet red with bricking on the edges. Layered and slightly aged nose with floral notes, truffles, damp leaves, red berries, bell peppers, almost jalapenos, and cedar. Medium tannins (6/10) and well balanced. Medium bodied and drinking very well. Palate has notes of red cherries, earthiness, smoky, green and a little bit of sweet spices. Medium plus to long finish.
Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Chiles Valley. Aged in 53% new French oak and 47% neutral French oak. More details about this winery coming in our post about WINESTYR.
