2014 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon

Estate: Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Region: Napa Valley, California, United States of America

Tasting Note:April 16, 2017

Deep garnet with a touch of ruby in the core. Fruit forward nose with plump and juicy blue and black berries. Light baking spices like cinnamon that increased in intensity as it opened. A touch savory in the finish of the nose too. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Similar notes on the palate. Tons of blue and black fruits, with some cinnamon, twigs and a little chalky fruits in the backend. Very approachable. Long and lingering finish.
