2016 Lauren Ashton Cellars Rosé
Tasting Note:April 16, 2016
Medium salmon pink. Started with an explosion of roses on the nose from the get go, with layers of melon, and some white floral notes too. Crisp and refreshing with moderate acidity (6.5/10). Light bodied with layers of light and just ripe red berries such as strawberries and raspberries. Zesty characteristics too with blood orange zest and something a little tropical too. Long finish, perfect for the summer.
This wine is 52% Grenache, 28% Counnoise and 20% Mourvedre. Get yours at the Release the Rosé event on April 22nd and 23rd! Excellent work Kit Singh!
