Deep garnet red with a ruby core. Layered nose with a slightly savory attack with bark, smoked herbs, and a touch green. A bit of fruit too; dark berries, black cherries, and blackcurrants. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and solid acidity. Dark red berries on the palate with a touch of anise. Well integrated with a savory mid-palate. Medium plus bodied and long finish.
