Deep and dark ruby red. Layered nose with smoke, black raspberries, black cherries, and slowly developing darker characteristics. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and strong acidity. Full bodied and mouthwatering. Delicious spices on the palate with layers of dark red fruits, blueberries, charred wood, a little savory and iron. Long and lingering finish.

Aged in 100% new American oak for 20 months and then aged in bottle for an additional 6 months prior to release. We had bottle number 2611.
