Dark ruby with violet hues. A touch smokey on the nose with sweet tobacco, herbs, spices, dust and a touch of plum. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Solid acidity and backbone, built for the long haul. Dark and deep fruits, dried ones too, a bit of herbs and perfumey as well. Long and slightly dry lingering finish.
