2010 The Grade Cabernet Sauvignon
Medium ruby red. Interesting nose giving off some cooler vibes. Notes of dark cocoa, mint, floral, and spices. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Notes of red berries and spices on the palate with some herbs. A bit darker with air. Medium to medium plus finish.
Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Block 1 and Block 5 on the Winfield Vineyard up in Calistoga. Only 270 cases produced. Made by Thomas Rivers Brown.

Elegant nose with notes of lavender, violets, a little bell pepper and spice. Medium tannins (5/10) and medium bodied. Soft and elegant palate too with floral notes, red cherries, raspberries, spices and a touch of gravel. Got a little green as it aired in the glass. Medium plus body.
