Garnet red with some browning on the edges. On day one the nose was very muted with just a little chalk and cassis, but on day two the nose opened up a little more with some more dark berries and a slight undertone of acetone. Well integrated and solid tannins (6/10), moderate plus body and moderate finish. Solid body for a 14 year old bottle, and some aged dark fruits on the attack.
