2018 Holden Manz Chenin Blanc

Pale golden yellow with a slightly greenish hue. Rich and full nose with a touch of hay, layers of honeysuckle, white stone fruits and butter. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Well balanced and rounded with layers of honeysuckle, pears, lychee, honey, stone fruits and a touch of wax. Long finish. Lovely complexity and easy to drink.
Second vintage of this Chenin Blanc from Holden Manz. The 2018 vintage is sourced from 40+ year old vines from all over the Western Cape such as Wellington, Stellenbosch and Paarl. All aged on the lees with 20% being aged for around 6 months in a mix of new and old French oak.
