2011 Luke Lambert Shiraz Crudo
Region: Yarra Yarra Valley, Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia

Medium ruby red with some garnet hues. Nice and juicy on the nose with raspberries, strawberries, funky, minerality and damp leaves. Balanced acidity (6/10) and medium tannins (4.5/10) with a medium minus body. Drinking nicely right now especially with food (grilled octopus). Layered with twigs, raspberries, black currants, dried roses, tart cherries and crushed gravel. Long finish.
Made up of 100% Shiraz that has been declassified from their Syrah and Reserve Syrah. Limited skin contact with 40% whole clusters. Aged in 50% used oak and 50% stainless steel.
