Tasting Note:December 19, 2017

First wine at our tasting at Raats Family Wines with Marika. Light pale yellow in appearance. Very floral on the nose with white blossoms and honeysuckle, some acacia and very light white fruits as well. Medium acidity (5.5/10) and light bodied. Refreshing and crisp on the palate with light citrus zest and stone fruits. Smooth and dry medium finish.

Comes from the Helderberg region within Stellenbosch. Made up of 100% Muscat d'Alexandrie (of Alexandria) and aged on the lees for six months in stainless steel.
