Tasting Note:May 27, 2018

Medium to deep golden yellow. Rich nose with baked apples, marzipan and buttered popcorn. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Creamy citrus elements on the palate with some baked apples, nutty and some tropical notes too. Long and lingering finish. Big and powerful Chardonnay.

Second stop on day three and finally made it to Napa. We tasted through some wines from Standard Deviation Wines and Addax Wines with Josh and Cheryl at Brasswood. First up for Addax Wines is the Sonoma Coast Chardonnay from a couple high end vineyards. Aged in 100% new French oak and only eight barrels produced. Made by Russell Bevan.
