Tasting Note:May 2, 2018

Last wine at Chops Grille. Needed some solid decant time to open up, around three hours. Insanely dark purplish red. Interesting nose with twigs and a touch green on the attack followed by cherries, floral and a touch dirty. Heavy and dry tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Super dry palate with some leather to start then opened up with blueberries, forest floor and spices. Long and lingering finish.
