Tasting Note:April 11, 2018

Medium lemon yellow with tight and light bubbles. Lovely and fresh nose with notes of white peaches, honey, white blossoms and nectarines. Light acidity (4/10) and light bodied. Floats on the palate with elegant notes of lychee, tropical fruits, honeysuckle and a touch of minerality in the medium finish.

This Moscato is a part of Castello del Poggio's Hello Sweet Life range which brings the Italian lighthearted way of living in a bottle to their consumers. As they say on their website. Life is simple.


We played around with these Hello Sweet Life collection wines with a cheese pairing. A book led us to pair this with baby Swiss cheese. This did a lot better with the blue cheese. Sweetness helped to cut through the richness of the Harris Teeter Blue Cheese. Overall this is a super easy going and quaffable wine.
